Automatically collects stock news from RSS feeds and HackerNews, runs GPT-4o-mini sentiment analysis, logs everything to Google Sheets, and fires Telegram alerts, with a live dashboard to track Bullish/Bearish signals.
Here is the tutorial for this template
Stay on top of stock market news without lifting a finger. This workflow runs every 30 minutes, pulling fresh articles from configurable RSS feeds (Google News, Reddit finance communities) and HackerNews. It then uses GPT-4o-mini to extract sentiment, tickers mentioned, and market impact, all logged to a Google Sheet and pushed to your Telegram channel.
What It Does
- Monitors 10+ RSS sources (fully customizable) and HackerNews finance stories in parallel
- Deduplicates articles so nothing gets processed twice
- Analyzes one article per run with GPT-4o-mini:
- Summary
- Sentiment (Bullish / Bearish / Neutral)
- Tickers
- Impact (High / Medium / Low)
- Writes structured results back to the exact Google Sheet row
- Sends a Telegram alert with full analysis — watchlist tickers get a WATCHLIST flag
- Provides a live dashboard in the Interface tab:
- Filter by sentiment
- Expand any article to view the AI-generated summary
- Track per-ticker signals in the “My Portfolio” tab
Setup
Setup takes approximately 2 minutes:
- Connect your Google account (a tracker spreadsheet is created automatically)
- Connect your Telegram bot
The workflow handles everything else.
Customization
- Add or remove RSS feed URLs directly from the interface
- Set your stock watchlist (e.g. AAPL, NVDA, TSLA) to highlight relevant articles
- Adjust the schedule frequency
- Swap GPT-4o-mini for another model
- Modify the Telegram message format
