How does NoClick authenticate with Airtable?

You can connect using either an Airtable Personal Access Token, generated at airtable.com/create/tokens, or the OAuth flow if you have registered an OAuth app. Both methods need scopes for reading and writing records, and schema or webhook scopes if your workflow manages tables or webhooks. The Personal Access Token is the quickest option for a single account.

Can I filter and sort records when listing them?

Yes. The List Table Records operation accepts an Airtable filter formula such as {Status}='Active', a sort field with an ascending or descending direction, a specific view, and a list of field names to return. It also paginates with a page size of up to 100 records and an offset, so large tables can be processed in chunks.

What is the difference between updating records and upserting them?

Update operations change records you already know the IDs of, either one at a time or in a batch of up to ten. Upsert Records by Field Match instead matches on one or more field values you specify, updating any existing record that matches and creating a new one when there is no match. Upsert is the right choice when you do not have record IDs and want to avoid duplicates.

Can a workflow change an Airtable base's structure?

It can. The node supports creating new tables, creating and updating fields with a chosen field type, and updating table metadata such as name and description. It can also fetch the full base schema so a workflow can inspect existing tables and fields before deciding what to add.

Does the Airtable node support webhooks?

Yes. The node can create a webhook on a base with a notification URL and a specification of which changes to watch, list a base's webhooks, list webhook payloads, refresh a webhook to extend its expiration, and delete webhooks. This lets automations react to changes that happen directly inside Airtable.

What does it mean to connect an app to Claude Code?

You wire an integration node into the agent's tools handle. Each operation that app exposes becomes a tool Claude Code can call directly, so it can take real actions in that app instead of only describing them.

Do I need to write any code to set this up?
