How does NoClick authenticate with WordPress?

The node uses an Application Password, which you create in the WordPress admin under Users, Profile, Application Passwords. This requires WordPress 5.6 or later and an HTTPS site, and the password is separate from your normal login credential.

Can a workflow publish posts to WordPress automatically?

Yes. The Create Post operation publishes a new post, and Update Post edits an existing one. You can also create and update pages, so both blog content and static pages can be produced or maintained by automations.

Does the WordPress node handle media uploads?

It does. Upload Media File adds a new file to the media library, and you can list media items, get a single item, update its metadata, or delete it. This lets a workflow attach images or documents to the content it publishes.

Can I manage categories, tags, and comments?

The node provides full create, read, update, and delete operations for categories and tags, so you can organize content taxonomy. It also lists comments and lets you create, update, and delete individual comments for moderation.

Does the node work with WordPress.com or only self-hosted sites?

The Application Password credential targets self-hosted WordPress installations running 5.6 or later over HTTPS. As long as the REST API is reachable and Application Passwords are enabled, the node can read and write the site's content.
