Connect Claude Code to Trello

Give an AI agent your Trello as a tool and it runs the board itself instead of just suggesting what to change. It can create cards, drop comments and labels on them, add checklist items and members, attach files, and read a board's recent actions to decide what to do next, calling each operation as a tool while it works through a task. Wire it into a coding agent in NoClick and it can triage incoming work into cards and keep the board up to date on its own.

What happens next

Set up in minutes

The open button drops you into a guided setup. It asks exactly this, nothing else:
  1. Choose where it runs

On your computer through your own Claude Code, or hosted in the cloud. The rest of setup adapts to your choice:

  2. Pick what it can do in Trello

A preset of real Trello operations. Each one becomes a tool the agent can call, and it can't touch anything outside the list.

  3. Connect Trello

One sign-in. The agent acts through your account, scoped to the operations you picked.

  4. Add your personal MCP link

The last step mints a private MCP URL for this agent and walks you through exactly this, with your real link filled in. The page flips to Connected the moment your Claude Code first calls in.

    Run this in your terminal

$claude mcp add --transport http noclick https://mcp.noclick.app/s/<your-link>

<your-link> is your personal server URL — setup mints it for you.

What you can build

When a card changes, post a comment and add a label to it so the rest of the board sees the update without anyone typing it.
Turn every new support form submission into a Trello card on the right list, with a checklist of the steps needed to resolve it.
When a board changes, read its recent activity with Get Board Actions and summarize the day's movement into a team message.
Route incoming bugs into new cards, then add the right member and label based on which component is affected.
At the end of each sprint, archive the Done list and create a fresh list for the next cycle automatically.
When a new design file arrives, attach it to the matching card and add a checklist item so a reviewer knows to look.

About Claude Code

Claude Code is Anthropic's command-line coding agent. In NoClick you run it as a hosted agent and connect your real apps to its tools handle, so it does far more than write code. Wire in an integration and Claude Code can read and act on Slack, Linear, your database, and more on its own, calling each one as a tool while it works. It is the same capable agent, pointed at your actual workflows instead of a sandbox.
Careful multi-step planning before it acts
Reliable on long, structured tasks
Reads context thoroughly before making changes
Comfortable across code, data, and APIs
