What’s the best AI app builder in 2026?

By NoClick, checked October 24, 2026. We make NoClick, listed first; every other company’s facts and prices are from its own pages, linked beside them.

The short answer

NoClick builds your app from a message, puts it live on your own domain and keeps it running, at what each piece costs. Elsewhere, pick by what you’re building.

  • An app live on your own domain, kept running, at costNoClick (we make it): type or text what you want
  • A React app with a ready backendLovable
  • A server in any languageReplit
  • One price for hosting and dataBase44
  • A web app with generous hostingBolt
  • A Next.js front end on Vercelv0
  • A built-in MongoDBEmergent
  • Building by hand in a visual editorBubble
  • A phone app for the App Store and Google PlayFlutterFlow

NoClick.Build it, run it, at cost.

NoClick

$0 a month for a live app

Type or text the app you want, and NoClick builds it, puts it live on your own domain and keeps it running, at what each piece costs.

Best for
Anyone who wants the app live on their own domain and kept running, without a monthly credit allowance to watch.
Falls short
Newer than Lovable, with a smaller community.
How it works and full pricing

Describe the app in the web chat, or text it to NoClick on WhatsApp or iMessage. NoClick writes the code into a git repo, makes its database, deploys it, opens it in a browser to check it works, and answers with the live address: a booking app for a bike shop took 9 minutes from one message. Each change is a message too, about 10¢ at cost. An app built on Lovable comes over from its GitHub link: one took 3 minutes.

A small live app with a database, 2,000 visits and 20 edits a month costs $0 on Free (with NoClick’s badge) and $25 on Member (no badge). Free includes $1 a day of usage, up to $5 a month, with a 15% fee on funds added; Member is $25 a month with $10 included and a 5% fee.

At a glance.

We compared what a small live app costs a month (your own domain, a database, 2,000 visits and 20 edits), what each plan includes, what happens when credits run out, and whether your code can leave, from each company’s own pricing page and docs.

The options.

Each builds an app from a description; they differ in what a live app costs, how far your credits go, and whether your code can leave.

React apps with a Supabase-based backend.

Best for
React apps with a ready backend, and Git sync on every plan.
Falls short
Your own domain and no badge need Pro ($25 a month), and 100 credits a month run out on a busy build.
How it works and full pricing

Lovable includes hosting: a live site uses no credits on its own and no plan caps visitors or bandwidth; its backend draws on credits after a 20-credit monthly Cloud grant (docs.lovable.dev/features/hosting). Lovable Cloud gives each app a database, sign-in, storage and functions, built on Supabase; larger database sizes cost more credits an hour, at rates the app shows rather than publishes (docs.lovable.dev/features/cloud).

Free: $0 a month, 5 credits a day, up to 30 a month; publishes on lovable.app with its badge. Pro: $25 a month, 100 credits a month, your own domain, no badge; 50 more credits for $15. Business: $50 a month, 100 credits a month, SSO and a team workspace.

Apps in any language, by its Agent.

Best for
Apps that need a server in any language, with hosting billed as it runs.
Falls short
A free app goes down after 30 days, and hosting and database bills vary with use.
How it works and full pricing

Replit bills publishing by use, from the plan’s credits first: an Autoscale app is a $2 monthly base fee (its August 2026 price update says $1) plus $0.40 per million requests and $0.60 per million compute units, and a static one is free plus $0.05 a GB (docs.replit.com/billing/deployment-pricing). Replit’s PostgreSQL is free while you build; a production database is $0.16 an hour while it’s queried (it sleeps after 5 idle minutes) and $0.35 a GB a month (docs.replit.com/billing/aug-cloud-billing-updates).

Starter: $0 a month, one published app, taken down after 30 days, with its badge. Core: $20 a month, $20 of credits a month for the Agent, hosting and databases; no badge. Pro: $100 a month, $100 of credits a month, kept for two months.

All-in-one apps, hosting in the plan.

Best for
One plan price that covers hosting and the database.
Falls short
No extra credits for sale, and code export needs Builder ($50 a month) and still relies on Base44.
How it works and full pricing

Base44 puts hosting in the plan price, with no fees beyond it; services an app calls outside Base44 bill on their own (base44.com/pricing). Every Base44 app has a database, and reading or writing it uses no credits; an app holds 200 MB on Free and 2 GB on Starter (docs.base44.com, Managing your app data).

Free: $0 a month, 25 message credits a month, 5 a day at most; apps on base44.app. Starter: $20 a month, 100 message credits, your own domain, the badge hidden. Builder: $50 a month, 250 message credits, GitHub sync and code export. Pro: $100 a month, 500 message credits. Elite: $200 a month, 1,200 message credits.

Web apps with its own database and hosting.

Best for
Web apps with a built-in database and generous hosting on Pro.
Falls short
Your own domain needs Pro ($25 a month), and more tokens are sold only on larger plans.
How it works and full pricing

Bolt Pro hosting includes 1 million requests and 30 GB a month across the account, with pay-as-you-go past that up to a cap you set; on Free a site goes offline for the rest of the month past 333,333 requests or 10 GB (support.bolt.new/bolt-cloud/hosting/plans). Bolt Database is built in with no limit on how many; using Supabase instead needs Pro; no database price is published (support.bolt.new/bolt-cloud/database).

Free: $0 a month, 1M tokens a month; bolt.host address and its badge; offline past 333,333 requests. Pro: $25 a month, 10M tokens a month, your own domain, no badge, 1M requests and 30 GB.

Next.js apps by Vercel, hosted on Vercel.

Best for
Next.js front ends that will live on Vercel.
Falls short
No database of its own, and a business’s app needs Vercel Pro beside v0.
How it works and full pricing

v0 deploys to Vercel and bills hosting there: Vercel’s free Hobby plan is for non-commercial use only, so a business’s app needs Vercel Pro, $20 a month with $20 of usage (vercel.com/docs/limits/fair-use-guidelines, vercel.com/pricing). v0 has no database of its own: it connects Neon, Supabase, Upstash or Vercel Blob, each billed by that provider (v0.app/docs/databases).

Free: $0 a month, $5 of credits once, 7 messages a day. Plus: $30 a month, $30 of credits a month per user, and $2 a day. Business: $100 a month, $30 of credits a month per user, training opt-out.

Full-stack apps on a built-in MongoDB.

Best for
Full-stack apps on a built-in MongoDB.
Falls short
Each live app pays a monthly credit fee, and the free plan can’t publish.
How it works and full pricing

Each live Emergent app pays a fixed monthly credit fee, from 50 credits for the smallest size to 1,100; Standard has 100 credits a month (help.emergent.sh/deployment-plan-levels). Emergent’s built-in MongoDB is included in the subscription, with small extra charges for heavy database work (help.emergent.sh/database-mongodb).

Free: $0 a month, 10 credits; can’t publish to production. Standard: $20 a month, 100 credits a month, your own domain, GitHub. Pro: $200 a month, 750 credits a month.

Web and mobile apps in a visual editor, with an AI agent.

Best for
People who want to build and keep editing a web or mobile app by hand, with AI to help.
Falls short
No code to take with you, and running costs come in workload units you learn by testing.
How it works and full pricing

Bubble hosts every app on its own servers with Cloudflare in front and bills running it in workload units: Starter includes 175K a month, and past that it’s $0.30 per 1,000 units unless you buy a workload tier (manual.bubble.io, How Bubble hosting works; Pricing FAQ). Every Bubble app comes with two built-in databases, one for development and one for live, encrypted at rest with point-in-time backups, and its database work counts toward workload (manual.bubble.io, How Bubble hosting works; AI credits).

Free: $0 a month, 50K workload units and 500 AI credits a month; builds and tests on bubbleapps.io, can’t go live. Starter: $39 a month, 175K workload units, 1,000 AI credits, your own domain, white-labeled (web only; $49 mobile, $69 both). Growth: $134 a month, 250K workload units, 2,000 AI credits, 2 editors (web only). Team: $399 a month, 500K workload units, 4,000 AI credits, 5 editors (web only).

Business apps and portals on your data, by AI or blocks.

Best for
Teams building client portals and internal tools on data they already keep.
Falls short
Few AI credits on each plan, and Basic caps apps at 5 team and 5 client users, with Softr’s branding until Pro.
How it works and full pricing

Softr hosts every published app on its own servers, on a free softr.app address or your domain, with DDoS protection built in, and doesn’t offer self-hosting (docs.softr.io/publishing/add-a-custom-domain-to-your-app). Softr Databases are built in on every plan and stored in AWS’s EU region, with 5,000 records on Free, 50,000 on Basic and 500,000 on Pro, and apps can also run on Airtable, Google Sheets, SQL databases and other sources (docs.softr.io/softr-databases/softr-databases-overview, softr.io/pricing).

Free: $0 a month, 5 AI credits a month, 5 app users, 5K records; a softr.app address. Basic: $25 a month, 10 AI credits a month, 1 custom domain, 5 team and 5 client users, 50K records. Pro: $119 a month, 50 AI credits a month, Softr branding removed, 10 team and 50 client users, 500K records. Business: $395 a month, 100 AI credits a month, 30 team and 100 client users, 1M records.

Business apps from a spreadsheet or a prompt.

Best for
Teams turning spreadsheets into internal apps for work.
Falls short
Free can’t publish, public apps start at $50 a month, and code is viewable only on Enterprise.
How it works and full pricing

Glide hosts published apps itself, on an address it makes or a Glide subdomain you pick, and only paid plans publish: Basic to your team, Plus at $50 a month to the public (glideapps.com/docs/os/publishing-and-sharing, glideapps.com/pricing). Each Glide project has one database whose tables come from a prompt, a spreadsheet or Google Sheets (copied in, never written back), and Pro adds Postgres connection strings so other tools can read or write it (glideapps.com/docs/os/data, glideapps.com/pricing).

Free: $0 a month, limited credits that don’t renew; 10 projects, can’t publish. Basic: $25 a month, 100 credits a month, 2 published apps, for you and your team only. Plus: $50 a month, 250 credits a month and up, 5 published apps, public apps. Pro: $125 a month, 500 credits and 5 members, unlimited published apps, database connection strings.

Flutter apps for phones and the web, by prompt or by hand.

Best for
People building a phone app for the App Store and Google Play.
Falls short
The prompt builder can’t export code or take your domain, so either means building in its Studio by hand.
How it works and full pricing

FlutterFlow hosts web apps free: its visual Studio publishes to a flutterflow.app subdomain on every plan, and an app built by prompt opens in a browser through a share link at an address FlutterFlow assigns (docs.flutterflow.io/deployment/web-publishing, docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/ways-to-run). An app built by prompt gets a built-in backend for records, sign-in and files, with read, write and storage meters whose limits the app shows rather than publishes, while Studio apps connect your own Firebase or Supabase (docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/backend-usage, flutterflow.io/pricing).

Free: $0 a month, a weekly AI allowance and one free first build; web on a flutterflow.app address. Basic: $39 a month, a monthly allowance for a simple app; in Studio, 1 custom domain, no watermark, code download. Pro: $80 a month, 2.5 times Basic’s allowance, paid refills; in Studio, push to GitHub. Max: $150 a month, 5 times Basic’s allowance, paid refills.

A free, open-source desktop app that builds web apps.

Best for
Developers who want a free, local builder with their own AI keys and all the code.
Falls short
You set up hosting, a database and a domain yourself, through GitHub, Vercel and Supabase or Neon.
How it works and full pricing

Dyad’s guide publishes an app by pushing its code to GitHub and deploying it on Vercel, or any cloud you choose, and names no hosting of its own; Vercel’s free Hobby plan is for non-commercial use only, so a business app needs Vercel Pro, $20 a month (dyad.sh/docs/getting-started/publishing-your-app, vercel.com/docs/limits/fair-use-guidelines, vercel.com/pricing). Dyad’s pages describe no database of its own: it connects your own Supabase or Neon account, both of which it notes have free tiers, to run the app’s database and sign-in (dyad.sh/docs/integrations/supabase, dyad.sh/docs/integrations/neon).

Free: $0 a month, open source, runs on your computer; your own API key or ChatGPT plan; basic agent, 20 messages a day. Pro: $20 a month, 200 AI credits a month, Pro Agent mode; credits reload at the same price. Max: $79 a month, 900 AI credits a month.

Small-business websites with a CRM and bookings.

Best for
Small service businesses that want a website with bookings and a CRM, fast.
Falls short
It builds websites, not apps: no database for your own data and no code to take with you.
How it works and full pricing

Durable hosts every site on Cloudflare with unlimited traffic, but publishing needs a paid plan, since Free only builds a preview on a durable.site address (durable.com/pricing). Durable’s pages describe no database for your own data; what it keeps is its built-in CRM of customers, 10 on Free and unlimited on paid plans (durable.com/pricing).

Free: $0 a month, 300 AI credits in all; a private preview on durable.site, can’t publish, badge shown. Launch: $25 a month, 1,000 AI credits a month, your domain or a free one up to $20, no badge. Grow: $49 a month, 5,000 AI credits a month, unlimited team members, a $40 domain credit.

Questions

It depends on what happens after the app is built. NoClick builds it, puts it live on your own domain and keeps it running at cost, $0 a month for a small app on Free. Lovable is strong for React apps with a ready backend, Replit for a server in any language, Base44 for one plan price, and v0 for a Next.js front end on Vercel.

A small live app on your own domain needs Lovable Pro, $25 a month, and its 100 credits a month cover roughly 60 to 200 small changes. On NoClick the same app is $0 a month on Free, and each change costs what the model does, about 10¢. Base44, Replit and Emergent start at $20 a month for a live app.

Lovable syncs your code to GitHub on every plan, Free included. Send NoClick the repo’s link and ask it to put the app live: one Lovable app took 3 minutes from that message. To use a domain you already own, NoClick gives you the two DNS records to set at your registrar.

NoClick connects your own domain on its Free plan. On Lovable and Bolt it takes Pro ($25 a month), on Base44 and Emergent a $20 plan, and on v0 you add it in Vercel, whose free plan is for non-commercial use only.

Yes, with NoClick: text it on WhatsApp or iMessage what you want, and it builds the app, puts it live and texts back the address. You change it the same way, by text.

On Lovable Pro, 50 more credits cost $15; Base44 sells none, so you wait or upgrade; Bolt sells more tokens only on its larger plans; Replit goes pay-as-you-go. NoClick has no credits: each change costs what it costs, about 10¢, and Free includes $1 of usage a day.

On NoClick your app is plain git: clone it or move it to GitHub whole, on any plan. Lovable syncs to GitHub on every plan, v0 on Free, Bolt and Replit by Git or zip, and Base44 only from Builder ($50 a month), where its exported code still relies on Base44.

On their free plans, Lovable, Replit, Base44 and Bolt add a badge that a paid plan removes. NoClick’s Free plan shows its badge too, and Member ($25 a month) removes it.
