Which Sheets and Postgres operations can Hermes use?

Only the operations you allowlist on each node, such as read range, append row, and run query. If you do not expose a write, the agent can read but not change anything.

Do I have to host Hermes myself?

No. NoClick runs the Hermes harness for you and wires both Google Sheets and Postgres in as tools, so there is nothing to install or self-host.

Can it run SQL that changes my database?

Only if you allowlist a write or update operation on the Postgres node. With just a read query exposed, it can report findings but cannot modify rows.
