Can I limit what the agent does in Linear?

Yes. Each operation is opt-in through the allowlist on the Linear node, so you decide whether it can create issues, change state, or only read.

Does it sync both directions automatically?

It does only what you ask in a run and only with the operations you allowlist. Two-way sync happens when you give it both the read and write operations it needs.
