Can it run arbitrary SQL against my database?

It can run only the Postgres operations you allowlist, scoped to the credential you connect. Use a least-privilege database role to bound what it can touch.

Do I have to host OpenCode anywhere?

No. NoClick runs OpenCode for you and wires Google Sheets and Postgres into it as tools.

Will it write to my tables without asking?

Only if you allowlist a write operation. Leave inserts and updates off the list and it stays read-only, reporting what it would have written.
