Can NoClick turn an address into coordinates?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Geocode Address returns latitude, longitude, and a place ID for a street address, and Geocode Place ID resolves a place ID back into location data. You can wire either to any trigger, so a form submission, a schedule, or an inbound message can produce geocoded results.

Can it calculate driving routes and distances between many locations?

Accepted Answer

It can. Compute Routes returns a single route with distance and duration, while Compute Route Matrix does many origins against many destinations in one call. The legacy Directions and Distance Matrix operations are available too if you need the older response format.

How do I connect Google-maps to NoClick?

Accepted Answer

Add your Google Maps Platform API key as the node credential. Create the key in Google Cloud and enable the specific APIs you plan to call, such as Geocoding, Routes, Places, and Air Quality. Once the key is saved, every operation on the node authenticates with it.

Can it check air quality or elevation for a place?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The node exposes Air Quality for current conditions, forecast, and history, plus an Elevation lookup for any set of coordinates. These are useful for scheduling outdoor work, environmental reporting, or adding context to a location record.

Can a workflow react to a location event automatically?

Accepted Answer

The Google-maps node is request and response, so it does not fire on its own. Instead, you trigger it from another node, such as a form, a webhook, or a schedule, and the node returns geocoding, routing, places, or air quality data for the rest of the workflow to use.
