Sarah Holt (07700 900147) called about a boiler failure with no hot water or heating, showing F28. I booked a boiler repair for Monday 26 October, 8–10am, at 14 Cardigan Road, LS6 3HN, and explained the £85 call-out covers the first half hour, then £30 per half hour plus parts. I promised to pass on her request for the team to call before they arrive.12:29

Hiya, our boiler's packed in. No hot water and the radiators are stone cold. Can someone come out?
Sorry to hear that. We cover Leeds and within ten miles. What’s your postcode?
LS6 3HN, it's 14 Cardigan Road in Headingley. The boiler's showing an F28 code.
I can offer Monday, 26 October, between 8 and 10 in the morning. Would that work for you?
Monday morning's fine. How much will it be?
The call-out is £85, which covers the first half hour. After that it’s £30 per half hour, plus any parts.
That's fine. It's Sarah Holt, and my mobile is 07700 900147.
Thanks, Sarah. I’ve booked the boiler repair for Monday, 26 October, with an arrival window of 8 to 10am at 14 Cardigan Road, LS6 3HN.
Brilliant, thanks. Will someone ring before they come?
I’m not sure whether someone will ring beforehand, Sarah. I can take a message to ask the team to call you before they come. Would you like me to do that?
Yes please, that'd be great. Cheers.
Of course, Sarah. I’ll pass on a message asking the team to call you before they come.

The carrier asks whoever holds one for a passport, ID card or driving licence (or your company’s registration certificate), a recent bill or statement as proof of address, your business’s website if it has one, and a line on how you’ll use the number. It checks them before the number answers. The number is 75p ($1) a month, and 75p ($1) once when it’s bought.

Yes. It stays with your network: you divert the calls you don’t answer to your NoClick number, or give the new number out instead. Vodafone: **61*, then your line’s number, then #; ##61# stops it. Use your line’s number with +44 in place of its first 0. Vodafone diverts only to UK numbers, and a diverted call uses your minutes. EE: on a Google Pixel, Phone app, Settings, Calling accounts, your SIM, Call forwarding, When unanswered. Then key in your line’s number and turn it on. O2: on a Nothing Phone (1), Phone app, Settings, Calling accounts, your SIM, Call forwarding, Voice, When unanswered. Then key in your line’s number and turn it on. On another network, ask it how to divert the calls you don’t answer.
After every call, the line sends you one short message: who called, why, and what it promised them. It comes on WhatsApp or iMessage, wherever you text NoClick, and by email until you do. Calls are recorded only where you turn recording on; callers then hear “This call is recorded.” first, and the audio is kept in your NoClick files, where you can delete it.
Not from a UK number yet. It reads the details back on the call instead.
It doesn’t announce it. If a caller sincerely asks whether they’re talking to a person, it never claims to be one.
