Can Codex send email on its own, or only draft it?

It gets exactly the Outlook operations you allowlist. With Create Email Draft exposed, it writes to your Outlook drafts and stops there, so a person reviews and sends. Expose only the operations you are comfortable with and it can do nothing else.

Does Codex need admin rights on our GitHub org?

It uses the GitHub credential you connect and can only call the operations you allowlist. If you expose just Check Pull Request Merged and Add Labels to Issue, it can read merge state and label issues but cannot touch org membership or team permissions. Scope the token to the repositories you want it near.

Where do our GitHub and Outlook credentials live during a run?

They resolve server side when a tool runs and are never passed into the model. Codex sees the tool names and their inputs, not your tokens, so the credential stays out of the transcript.

How does Codex get access to my apps?

You connect an integration to the agent's tools handle and select which operations to expose. Codex then calls those operations as tools, authenticated with the credentials you connect in NoClick.

Is this the same Codex CLI?

Yes. NoClick runs the Codex harness for you and adds your connected apps as tools. You do not have to install or manage anything locally.

Can I trigger a Codex agent automatically?

Yes. Because it runs hosted, you can start it from a schedule, a webhook, or another app event, not just by hand.
