What does it do when the playbook is thin?

It escalates more, which is the safe direction but also means a busier Slack channel in week one. That is the right way to start, because widening a playbook after reading real conversations is easier than pulling back a wrong answer a customer already screenshotted. Expect the escalation rate to fall as you add sections.
