Linear Issue Triage Agent with Hermes

A run is a search, a couple of reads and one comment, once per issue created. That small unit makes Linear triage a sensible home for an open model agent: the bill tracks how much your team files rather than how large the workspace has grown. Wired into NoClick, Hermes reaches Linear and Slack as real tools and does the labelling itself rather than drafting something for a person to paste in.

Watch it work before it's live

Run a staged conversation — no account needed. The agent handles it for real while a simulated world answers its tool calls; nothing touches real accounts, and nothing is actually sent.

iOS app signs the user out when the phone hands off from wifi to LTE

created by Aditi Raghunathan

Started with build 5.9.1, which shipped Tuesday. On iOS 18.4, walk out of wifi range with the app open and the session token gets dropped, so the next tap lands on the login screen. Nine people in the beta channel hit it today, two of them on the Kerslake account. Android is unaffected.

Set up in minutes

Using this template drops you into a guided setup. It asks exactly this, nothing else:

  1. Connect Linear

One sign-in. The agent acts through your account, scoped to what this template uses.

  2. Connect Slack

One sign-in. The agent acts through your account, scoped to what this template uses.

  3. Triage guide

Your triage rules in plain English - which labels you genuinely use and what each one means, what clears the urgent bar, and the repro details your engineers always end up chasing. Nothing gets classified from anywhere else.

  4. Team map

Each area of the product and the Linear member who owns it, and where to send an issue whose area is not obvious.

  5. Runs on Hermes

Preselected for this page — connect your Hermes account during setup, or switch to NoClick's built-in models with one click.

  6. Watch it handle a test run

A staged conversation against a simulated world — then it’s live.

Why Hermes for this agent

Priced by filing rate

A team opening twenty five issues a day is twenty five small runs a day. Quiet weeks cost nothing, and doubling the size of the workspace changes none of that arithmetic.

Open foundation, real writes

It acts through the same connected credentials as any other harness here, so an open model is applying genuine labels and assignments inside your tracker.

Before you fork

Will our Slack channel end up carrying every triaged issue?

Only issues clearing the urgent bar you wrote reach Slack, and the rest are finished silently inside Linear. A loose bar makes the channel chatty, which is a rules problem rather than a harness one. Restrict the bar to outages, data loss and security holes and most days the channel stays empty.
