Our headers and values are in Spanish. Does that matter?

Not for the mechanics, since columns resolve by whatever the header row actually says and status labels come from the list you write in the row rules. Number and date conventions are worth being explicit about, because a comma decimal separator against a dot decimal separator is exactly the sort of value that carries two readings.
