HubSpot Ticket Triage Agent with Claude Code

Every ticket that opens is one run of five calls: read the ticket, two searches, a property update and a note. That shape is fixed, so the bill follows how many tickets you take rather than how hard any of them are. Claude Code reads a record fully before classifying it, and here that thoroughness is spent on a bounded amount of text.

Watch it work before it's live

Run a staged conversation — no account needed. The agent handles it for real while a simulated world answers its tool calls; nothing touches real accounts, and nothing is actually sent.

No payout has reached our bank since the account migration on Monday

EmailSupport Pipeline, email inbox

NoteWe were migrated to the new merchant account on Monday and nothing has settled to our bank since. Your dashboard shows three settlement runs as complete, references SR-88412, SR-88530 and SR-88604, and our bank has received none of them. We pay 46 drivers on Friday and the chat widget quoted 48 hours for a reply. Our account manager is on leave until the 19th.

Set up in minutes

Using this template drops you into a guided setup. It asks exactly this, nothing else:

  1. Connect HubSpot

One sign-in. The agent acts through your account, scoped to what this template uses.

  2. Connect Slack

One sign-in. The agent acts through your account, scoped to what this template uses.

  3. Triage rules

How tickets get sorted here - your categories, the priority each one earns, which pipeline or teammate owns it, the exact properties the agent may set with the values it may use, and where a ticket goes when it fits none of them. Nothing outside this is a judgement the agent gets to make.

Why Claude Code for this agent

Five calls, whatever the ticket

A password reset and a settlement failure cost the same number of calls. Volume is the only variable, which makes a support queue unusually easy to forecast.

Monday costs more than Sunday

Nothing runs between tickets and no sweep is scheduled. A quiet weekend costs nothing, and a spike is simply more short runs.

Before you fork

Most of our queue is simple. Is a full triage run worth spending on those?

On a password reset the note is short and both searches usually come back empty, so the easy tickets are also the cheapest runs. The value sits in the minority you cannot spot in advance, and spotting them is what the reading is for. Where a whole category arrives through one channel or pipeline, point the trigger away from it and those tickets never start a run.
