About this agent

Trello intake lists fill up with cards that are three words and a screenshot, and the person who could act on one has to go back and ask for everything first. This agent picks up each card as it lands, labels it against your playbook, adds the steps that request type calls for, and leaves a single comment naming what is missing. It never archives, never deletes, and moves cards only between the lists you named, so the worst thing it can do is ask for a detail you already had.

What people use it for

  • Stop chasing missing details - The requester is asked for the deadline, the budget and the contact within a minute of opening the card. That beats finding out two days later when somebody finally picks it up.
  • Every card starts with a checklist - The steps your team would have added by hand are on the card before anyone opens it, in the same order every time. Nothing runs off whoever remembered the process.
  • Route work without a meeting - Labels and list moves follow the playbook you wrote, so bug reports, design requests and client work land where their owners are already looking.
  • Only the urgent ones interrupt - A routine request is handled quietly on the board. A client outage card reaches Slack with its link and the one condition it matched, which is why people keep that channel open.

Before you fork

What do I need connected?

A Trello credential with access to the board, plus one Slack channel if you want the alerts. Then you write the playbook: which list is the intake, what each request type gets, and where cards go next. Point it at the board your team already uses, since nothing is renamed or restructured.

Will it bury my board in comments?

One comment per card, only for cards in the intake list. Change events triggered by its own labels and checklist are ignored, so a card does not collect a fresh comment every time somebody drags it around. A card it cannot classify gets one comment and is then left alone.

What happens when it guesses the request type wrong?

It only files against types you listed, and anything it cannot match stays where it is with a comment asking for the detail that would place it. Labels and list moves are both reversible in a drag, and the comment records what it thought and why. Run it against the staged cards first, then widen the playbook once the labels look right.
