Does Codex send Outlook mail or just draft it?

With Create Email Draft exposed, it writes to your Outlook drafts and stops there, so a person reviews before anything goes out. It only runs the operations you allowlist, so it can draft, attach a log, and file mail into folders without ever sending on its own.

Can it cancel calendar events or delete mail?

Only the operations you turn on are available to it. Cancel Calendar Event is one you can withhold, and if you expose only drafting, filing, and contact operations, the agent has no way to cancel events. You set that list per agent.

Where do the GitLab and Outlook credentials sit during a run?

Both resolve server side when a tool runs and never enter the model. Codex works from tool names and inputs, so your GitLab token and Outlook auth stay out of the transcript.

How does Codex get access to my apps?

You connect an integration to the agent's tools handle and select which operations to expose. Codex then calls those operations as tools, authenticated with the credentials you connect in NoClick.

Is this the same Codex CLI?
