Can the agent message contacts without approval?

Only through the Twilio operations you allowlist, such as Send Sendgrid Template Email or Create Conversation. Keep them off and the agent still logs the call in Pipedrive and drafts the message for review. Sends happen only on operations you enable.

How does it get the recipient?

It reads the contact detail from the Pipedrive deal and passes it into the SendGrid or Conversations call, then records the result with Add Call Log. Keep the email or phone on the deal so the agent has a clean field. It does not pull addresses from unrelated notes.

Do my Twilio and Pipedrive credentials stay out of the model?

Yes. Both resolve on the server when each tool runs, so the keys never enter the model context. Hermes triggers the operation and reads the outcome, but the raw credential stays hidden from it.
